Anaconda Pharma is pleased to announce that the CondyClin Project has received formal recognition from the ‘Pôle de Compétitivité’ Medicen Paris Region.

‘Pôle de Compétitivité’ Medicen Paris Region Award  – May 4th,  2007 –

Anaconda Pharma (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the CondyClin Project has received formal recognition from the ‘Pôle de Compétitivité’ Medicen Paris Region. The CondyClin project is focused on the clinical development of AP611, Anaconda’s small molecule drug candidate to treat subjects with condyloma. The Dermatology and Allergology Department of the Tenon Hospital (Paris) will collaborate with Anaconda Pharma on this project. Dr. Marta Blumenfeld, CEO of Anaconda Pharma comments; “This is substantial recognition of the progress and the importance of the efforts being made by Anaconda Pharma to develop a specific anti-condyloma drug. We expect this award will help us to obtain public funding to finance in-part the upcoming clinical trial program of AP611”.

Anaconda Pharma (www.anacondapharma.com) is a privately held biopharmaceutical company incorporated in November 2003 and operating from lab space within the BioTop incubator at the Pasteur Institute campus in Paris, France. Anaconda Pharma has developed a unique and proprietary platform for the discovery of small molecules that disrupt protein:protein interactions. These represent a major new class of pharmaceutical targets which have been unexploited due to the difficulty of recognizing drug'able hot-spots on the surface of interacting proteins.

Anaconda Pharma is initially targeting condyloma, an HPV related-indication which represents the major HPV economic opportunity in industrialized countries.
