Anaconda Pharma (the “Company”) is pleased to announce the closing of its most recent round of financing.  Anaconda Pharma successfully closed on €2,6 million  in new investment from a group of private investors.  This money will enable the Company to move its lead series through preclinical development and into clinical evaluation for the treatment of condyloma.  Dr. Marta Blumenfeld, Chief Executive comments; “We are really happy with the support we got from investors for this last round of financing.  We are at a very exciting time in our company’s history and are looking forward to moving our first drug candidates into formal clinical evaluation.  Condyloma is a big disease and poorly managed by the currently available therapies.  There is a real clinical need for an innovative, small molecule anti-viral to treat condyloma and we believe we are clearly the leading company in this area”.
 
Anaconda Pharma is a privately held biopharmaceutical company incorporated in November 2003 and operating from lab space within the BioTop incubator at the Pasteur Institute campus in Paris, France.
